flyer91, I didn't and still don't consider this an argument, just people with the same goals, with a different opinion on how to achieve them.
with you living behind enemy lines you obviously have a different perspective of things.
it takes a lot to open some peoples eyes, and this has awakened a lot of gun owners up, after the 94 ban the gun owners went to the polls and booted the Democrat majority leader Tom Daschle out, and took back both the senate and house from Clinton. if we can hold them until the next election cycle we may have a chance at stopping them cold.

I thought I saw a post here from C. Phil that seems to now be gone.
It referred to the very real (and applaudable) virtues of Tn's gun laws.
I could not agree more with what it said.
I would add that you are the descendants of the same people that fought the battle of Athens, Tn.

Our government is (in many regions and ways) now fraught with the same type of corruption, and will soon be back to the 1930's/40's Athens level ..... if not already, and it is spreading.
I hope the sons and daughters of the WWII vets that fought this battle are still "Tennessee strong" ......... and just as willing to be just as aggressive.

Yup, but I would go farther than just stopping them. I want to see a roll back to 'at least' pre-1968.
The facts as you stated them above may be enough to cause some to feel safe. That "having already accomplished the booting of the lot along with Daschle", there is little to worry about because the message has been sent loud and clear.

As indicated ........I think we need to 'emphatically' restate it.

But ..... I do hope this thread, along with 'all' it's responses, will cause some additional .......... "ponderment" to take place.
