Y'all might know that my wife is also a lawyer and works for one of the local judges. She's pretty familiar with the criminal justice system.
We were watching the TV regarding the brouhaha about Robert Kraft getting a summons for soliciting. She remarked that everyone is getting worked up over the consequences to him over basically was a misdemeanor charge carrying a max of $500 and up to 60 days in jail. She said that he would just pay the fine and move on.
I am thinking that if they substituted my name for Robert Kraft, her thoughts would be a bit different-she would have my boys in a jar next to her side of the bed.
I kept that thought to myself!

OP your problem would be betrayal, a most hurtful thing. Kraft's wife died a while back, I don't know if he has a new monogamous relationship, if not, he betrayed no one. I lived in Nevada for a while, never partook of the forbidden fruit, but it was licensed, inspected, taxed, etc. Except in Las Vegas where it was illegal but highly tolerated back then anyway.

As a conservative, I vote to legalize pot and prostitution, use the money saved and taxed for truly heinous crimes, such as involving children.

She was talking about the government's judicial system. Ask her about the marital justice system. Totally different system that is not subject to the findings and rulings of the government's judicial system. Under the marital justice system, a life sentence may be imposed for any crimes whether large or small. It is totally up to the judge's discretion and there is no appeal. There may be things one can do to reduce a sentence but again it is within the sole discretion of the judge.

I found myself wondering who planted cameras to record the deed(s). I doubt the massage place did - why would they document their own illegal activity on cameras. That would seem to leave the police as having surreptitiously planted cameras. But if the police were aware of illegal activity didn't they have a duty to shut it down immediately rather than leave cameras running for whatever period of time? Or are we to believe they just happened to catch Mr. Kraft the first day they had the cameras running? I never seem to have enough answers.
