Just bought a box with every round drilled in the primer and low on the case. Looks like post war but very old. Inside of end flap is stamped
T23R. Any ideas?
Interesting… My son, and I thought that possibly they were used as training rounds. No labels on the box suggested anything other than regular ammo. Possible that someone put a different box inside the cover box? for who knows why.
They will go into the collection… Thanks for the pics..
One more question. I understand about the action proving rounds, particularly for self loaders. But why would you need an action proving around for a revolver?
Maybe used in the movies for props? Just curious. Thanks.
