This little one was picked up between Ennis and Waxahachie when a truck slowed down, the driver door came open, something was thrown out and then the truck kept going. Luckily, an animal lover stopped to scoop up this sweet pea before she could get run over (or worse).

She is getting shots and a check up on Thursday and then will stay in foster care for a few weeks until she is big enough to hold her own at the shelter. She's really sweet...adorable markings.....guessing 12 weeks old....shepherd mix that will be a big dog.

Interestingly, a FOR SALE flier was seen in Waxahachie last week that had pics of puppies just like this one and the price had been cut from $250 to $200... If you could pass this info around to friends and family that would be great!! She just needs a good home.

Contact me if you want to help out, Thanks...In Texas Near Dallas.

Anyone who would throw ANY animal out of a moving vehicle deserves to have their butt booted out headfirst @ 60mph. Cute pup! Good luck!

Agreed....I can stand people who treat dogs like disposable items..good for you for helping out this poor lil pup...

not to thread highjack

but if anyone in the atlanta area is looking to adopt I've got a little pup I'm sponsoring and trying to find a home for....she's a real sweet lap warmer and her name is Delilah. delilah!. Please pm me if anyone is interested

My wife says two mastiffs are enough; sure hope someone in the area can give this little guy a good home.

Thanks for any help everyone, she looks shepherd mix...
Bump for a good cause...

Magna.:D

Just look at that face. I'd love to know who was in that truck!:mad::mad:

I hope one day when she grows up finds them and bites them in a VERY tender location:rolleyes:

Just got a black Cocker from Cocker rescue.
Sorry Seattle's too far to do you any good?
Good Luck!

BTT

I cannot say what i would like to do to people who do this sort of thing, it would be slow, painfull and fatal. Good luck with a home for her!

If I was in Dallas, like my SIL, that dog would be mine. We're planning on rescuing one when we move, and we want a large dog.
Good luck, she'll make somebody a great companion.

I live in dallas and would love to take her off your hands but the boss lady says No!! She would be great to have around and would love to see her give my great dane a hard time, I really hope someone can give her a good home, She deserves it!

idiots and fate

First anybody who just dumps a animal to die should be stripped naked, painted red white and blue and kicked out of a HUMV in the outskirts of Bagdad. Let them suffer the same fate.

Speaking of fate. We got a cocker spaniel 15 years ago as a pet/sometimes hunting companion. Liked it enough we got a second 6 years latter. 3 years ago, a pet shop owner wanted to give us a 5 mo old cocker pup because it wasn't selling and costing her $ to keep. My wife pleaded that we take it "just long enough for her to find it a good home". I gave in and two weeks latter it was named. We've been a happy 3 dog family ever since. I can honestly say that the only difference between owning 2 dogs and 3 is that your always one hand short for petting. :-)
Moral of the story being: If you don't find it a home in two weeks, better start looking for a name ;-)

Thank you for trying to save the dog. As I grow older I appreciate all animals more than I appreciate some people.
