They run some pretty good sales on ammo and guns at times. Sign up for their emails and they send you 20% coupons too.
I've got some pretty good deals there but not too many guns. They mainly have surplus guns and lower priced long arms mainly, no handguns.
They have weekly sales prices good on Sundays and Mondays so you have time to get there at least. Othe sale prices are good for the week.

I often buy ammo there. Especially shotgun slugs.
Selection is usually good and the Sunday/Monday sales make the
price pretty good.

I have not bought a gun there yet. The selection isn't usually to my
taste.

How soon are they going to open? I'm not too far away.

They pulled out of my part of town 10 or 12 years ago, but I checked the store out twice every week. They had a good selection in most departments and a good Scout section. I never bought any firearms there, but they kept the other gun stores in line. Cabela's is opening a store soon, and is already making the LGS's get busy on sales and service.

We have one in Tullahoma, TN. I find it to be a more economical version of Dick's but, the firearms department is not a good. We are lucky to have something other than the sporting goods department (if you can call it that) in our Super Wally World.

Some prices are good, some are not but, with their coupons, it seems to work out. We are, in my opinion, lucky to have them as a source and a local business. The alternative is to drive to Murfreesboro, Nashville or Huntsville, AL.

Dunham's is open in Hastings
the gun department isn't much bigger than wally world.
they have more AR's and short barrel shotguns than Cabela's Kearney which is a lot. I couldn't see the prices because I couldn't get close enough to the counter. there was a lot of people looking.
I don't know why they don't have any handguns but since they don't there isn't any ammo for them either other than 22's. I didn't look at the rifle ammo prices.
they have a rapid order program and I don't know if that would include handguns. I don't know the details about the program either
no reloading stuff so for the town the size of Hastings there still isn't a good place to buy components

One just opened about 20 miles away. At my Gun Club, heard guys talking about good ammo prices. At least lower than Dick's, or GM.
They handed out 20% off coupons to every club member. So I will check it out soon. Need another 5500 rounds of .22lr. If I can buy out the door for less than $200.00, probaly worth the trip.

We used have one here locally, but closed 2 years ago. Their lease may have been up, and the site was being re-developed. Now half the spaces are vacant. There are still others in the area though. They were decent, and seemed to have a good ammo supply during the shortage a few years back. Prices were typically fair.
