We loaded up the range bag with 5 guns and jumped on the Harley to get some BBQ and then head out to the range. We took 3 Glocks and 2 1911s.

I was looking forward to shooting the new E series. The Glocks were....well, they were predictable and reliable Glocks.
The E Series was the star of the event and Freaking Great to shoot! It is NOW the best auto loader that I have. My wife shot it and now she wants one too!

We had a great day of riding the Harley with some good friends and shooting some great weapons! Later we stopped at bar for a cold one before heading home.

SW E series is 5 Stars and highly recommended!
Mongo like!

I took my 1911TA out a few weeks ago and had the same result as you. Reliable, soft-shooting(mine has a Wilson Shok-Buff that I found in the parts box, but I don't think it makes a difference), and accurate as hell.

And....

Glad to hear you're happy with your new E-Series too Mongo.
I think S&W did a great job on these firearms!

Last week was my E-Series first trip to the range.

Now if we could just get some of your bike riding weather in the Midwest. :(

I scored an "E" model two months old LNIB for $650.
I couldn't pass it up, and it shoots great right out of the box.
Mine is the basic model, but it's still beautiful.

I Hate You. If you are curious as to why, today's high temperature was a blistering 12 degrees.

Other than that, it's no surprise you're finding the new 1911 a real treat to shoot. The 1911 is quite simply a brilliant design.

Yeah, my Scandium framed round butt E series is the talk of the range whenever I show up with it. I can't wait until my Performance Center 1911 finally gets here... With the speed they are cranking those out, we will be having BBQ and riding Harleys here in IL because it will be August :)

I have a scandium bob-tailed one too. It's a very good gun, but the mags that came with it were junk. Nothing but failures to feed until I switched mags, then it ran like a Swiss watch.

I just ran 150 rounds through mine ths morning with the 2 factory mags and didn't have a single hitch. I think it is just the luck of the draw as far as the 2 mags that came with the gun :)
