Friends, a few questions about the model 64.
This revolver is stainless.
Light profile {pencil} barrel. Yes I know that's irritating to some.
I spotted one in a LGS.
Are they new enough to have newer style internals? The hammer looked almost MIM as did the trigger but it still has the hammer nose firing pin arraignment. Hard to explain I'm sorry.
Just marked m64.
Some dope had monkeyed up the ejector rod end.
Pach style grips which have to be replacements.
Wide serrated front site fixed rear.
Overall in good condition.
Marked $450.
I'm thinking this revolver has had the internals swapped out and with the ejector rod bunged up I was thinking $300 is all she would be worth.
Thoughts? Maybe even that is too much.

The original stocks are PC magnas like these.

The ejector rod and correct stocks would likely cost you $75.00 or more. IIRC I bought mine in March of 2014 for less than the price of the one you are interested in, but it had the incorrect box and papers.

That's a nice one.
I have been thinking.
I bet the reason the hammer and trigger doesn't look like it belongs is it may be a replacement for a DAO modified.
Yea it is only worth $250 to me the way it sits in the store.

I wouldn't assume the "internals have been swapped out" for whatever
reason without more information. The hammer and maybe the trigger
also are probably flash chromed carbon steel instead of stainless for
better wear resistance. The ejector rod may have had pliers used to
tighten. The no dash tapered barrel model was only made for about
two years, about 1973-74. If the dealer is asking $450 good luck
trying to buy it for $250.
