Madison County IL, State Attorney allows for carry conceal starting immediately.

The way the article reads, even I can carry concealed in that county. I fulfill the 7 requirements. I hope the rest of Illinois follows suit.

I live in Madison County and was just told by my LGS owner NOT to carry because even thought the County AG will not press charges, the ISP can and will until the law is on the books. Also, Lisa Madigan was granted a 30 day extension. The new deadline is July 9th.

Thanks for the heads up. I have to visit my Illinois relatives next month and I definitely don't want to make a mistake there.
