I have a S&W .38 that appears to be a Model 10 K frame snubbie. It was my dad's and it was given to him while he was deployed on a mission in Central America in 1961. It looks new and never fired, however the ejector rod is dinged up for some reason and I'd like to replace it to keep the mint condition of the weapon. I've found one on Brownell's. There were two choices, for over 2" and for 2". My barrel looks to be 1". The ejector I bought was too long by about 1/4" I've searched and can't find one that would fit. The finish is blued. If someone has an idea of where I could get the rod, I would appreciate it.

Welcome to the Forum.

Barrels are measured from the front of the cylinder to the end of the barrel. It would help if you posted the model from the frame stamping, behind the yoke. It should be Mod 10-2 or similar.

You may want to post in our Classifieds for a rod.
