Many of the citizens of Gaza are taught to hate Jewish people and Israel from child hood, when the captives and the dead were brought back into Gaza by the Hamas terrorists the Gaza civilians rushed out to stone and beat them. No doubt there are innocents in Gaza- All off the 1400 some that Hamas murdered in their raid across the border were innocent.

My concern is how does the killing stop?
Israel will stop shooting eventually; they will not kill the 2,000,000 civilians of Gaza. But nearly half of those civilians now have no homes, no businesses; the friends and relatives of the innocent dead (not Hamas) will hate Israel for generations now.

You say the Jap attack wasn't A terrorist attack? How does that seem true The Japanese used civilians as human ,shields in some of the fighting on the islands Iwo esp. Had three uncles and a father involved in that. Affected them the rest of their lives. Talk to some Chinese that lived under Japanese rule. How many Were literally slaughtered?...as stated by someone else...there is no way the Palestinians didn't know of Hamas plan...

With Hamas using civilians as shields the Israelis will stop killing. It's all down to world opinion now. .If it was your family killed by terrorists...and you were able...how would you feel about stopping??? With you not being a saint I think differently

Now…recognizing the flaw in my own statement…there's little question that Iran is behind Hamas, Hezbollah and other anti-Semitic and anti-Jewish groups and nations…Israel is not directly going after them. Should Iran spark a wider conflict without other groups as their proxies…that would be total war.
The reality is…and Israel likely knows it…is this will not be over until one side emerges victorious. And Israel has the justifiable attitude that they will not and cannot lose. The anti-Israel side knows they only have to keep things at a boil with occasional direct conflict…it gets them funding, power and sympathy from a largely anti-Semitic world.
If the anti-Israel forces would lay down their arms there would be peace. If Israel would lay down its arms there will be no Israel.

Doesn't take much thought. Jews are a race, easily identifiable by DNA. Israel is a nation, created through the UN just like Afghanistan, Iraq, and I think Iran. Judaism is a religion.

I hope the fighting stops. all the killing was actually started by Hamas and their sponsors...who I feel knew this would start a killing spree that Israel could/would not forgive. It will make them out to be the bad guys...just like we are for the use of the Atom bombs... against a nation that did the same to civilians as Hamas is doing today. What we did in 1945 was done for the same reason as Israel is doing so now...to save lives of their countrymen, women and children included

Draining the city's sewage system into tunnels that have been cleared by Israeli troops would be a nice touch. Then a few days later bleed natural gas into the tunnels that have not been cleared, stand back, and light 'em off.

I fully support Israels right to bomb the hospitals in what is the worlds largest political prison. With my grandkid's money. While I'm at church praying on how to pay my taxes.
