Emotional Support Hamster Cruelly Flushed

I’m not much for rodents either but a pet is a part of the family. I believe if someone told me I had to flush my “support hamster”, they would be the ones getting sucked into the toilet!!! She just thinks she’s gonna get a easy payday. Probably had it planned with the airline worker as a scam.

She had lots of time, if she had brought it down to the baggage claim area with cage etc. She probably would have found someone who had landed there who would be happy to take it as a pet, and bring it home to their "What did you bring me" kids.
A phone call to the local ASPCA would have probably had someone come out to pick it up, probably arrange to hold it or get it to her somehow.

Just put it in a small container, and no one could argue that it was not carry on, but perhaps it is a set up for Negligent Infliction of Emotional Stress. We'll see where this goes.

That's what I was thinkin. She's already lawyered up according to the article and considering a lawsuit......

She was flying out of Baltimore in Nov. No coat she could have put it in?

How do we know there even was a hamster?
Did any airport cameras catch it?
Did they drag the sewage treatment plant for the carcass?

Hamsters are short-lived to begin with. It wouldn’t have provided emotional support very long.
