The theme for our next image contest is "Date Night".

Your image must be original and taken by the entrant. Your entry will include two guns. One will be a man's gun and the other a woman's gun. As always, at least one of the two guns must be a Smith & Wessonr.

Entries for our contest must be posted here in the Photos Area only. The entries will be accepted and judged from 8:00 PM today, Tuesday April 1, 2014 until 8:00 PM Tuesday April 8, 2014 . One entry per person please.

The images should be judged on content, creativity, set up and technical skill. The rarity or collectability of the guns should not be considered when voting. Vote for as many as you like but PLEASE LOOK AT EVERY ENTRY.

The prize is a S&W Model 6060 Folding Hunter (again). This folder came out in 1974 as part of the series of knives designed by Blackie Collins for S&W.

The long and the short of it

The '72 M38* was my gift to my then girlfriend when she bought her own condo in 1979. We were married in '81 and to this day she still has (and carries) the little J-frame. The MOP stocks were a partial 25th Anniversary gift.

Mine: '56 SAA Gen 2 with a trip through the Colt Custom Shop 20+ years ago.

*I first offered her a brand new 2" M64 RB but she didn't like the weight and the size.
