In 1987, I purchased two 657, .41 Mag, 3-inch barreled, factory combats Smiths from my LGS serialed 101 apart. I am thinking about selling the one that was to be my "shooter" but ended up barely shooting at all. It's just not a model I find enjoyable in 3-inch. I unfortunately do not have the box for this one anymore (movers lost some of my stuff 6 years ago). However, the conditions is flawless end-to-end. 99%. It's early production with low serial ANE33XX. I think this is about a $900-1000 gun, versus the insane asking on GB. What do you guys think is realistic?

TIA

I would not sell mine with the original grips for less than 1K. With the box and fixins, no less than $1100.00. Thats a great revolver in a fantastic caliber and barrel length. Not many out there so I'd hang onto it.

Kennyb really got a great deal on his. Them are far and few between.

I dont have one, but my LGS in MA has one for $1,300.00 plus tax, looked NEW or Almost New to me, but no box. I have always wanted one, but $1,300.00 plus tax with no wiggle room had to be a pass for me. If it was $1,000, I would have bought her. I do really, really want one though!!!!!

1300 is a bit steep. I paid 650 for mine in ca. I would not sell it for less than 1k here with original grips. Shown on the bottom

Very nice 657 and a great price sir. Mine looks like yours and I love it! Paid $700.00 for mine a few years back IMS.

These are great SD revolvers as they pack a serious punch and are very accurate. Also good for outdoor activities where protection from 2 and 4 legged predators are lurking about.
