EVER BUY 3 GUNS OF THE SAME KIND?

I don't know if I am the only one to ever buy 3 guns of the same kind. i just recently bought a Gen4 Glock 30 and liked it so much I bought 2 more and thinking I may even buy a 4th one. My friends think I should buy different models so get variety but I love the G30 and the way it shoots, I want to be sure even if guns are eventually outlawed, I will still have them. With the gun grabbers out there, I would even think buying 10 of the exact same kind wouldn't be such a bad idea. I can only imagine soon next year, guns will have a 1000% tax and **** like that

If you start collecting milsurps, it is easy to do. You might want an example from each manufacturer, an example of the different variations, different war years, etc.

When I read the title of your post the first thing that came to mind was my ever growing M1 Garand and Carbine collection but after further reading another concept came to mind. I like Estwing hammers. They work well. Fit my hand. Bulletproof. Good all around tool. Therefore I own multiple. Glock 19 is the same thing for me as the hammer. Fits well. Rugged. Good all around tool. Therefore I own multiple. The Glock 19 is the weapon that I have found fits the bill for a protecting my wife and I so we each have one and have a few for around the house.

Cabalas gets them in 1 and 2 Glock 30's at a time and as soon as they come in they are gone. I bought one they had sitting in back, then when I came 72 hours later to pick it up, they just got another one and the sales counter rep was egging me on to buy that one....uggg......so I did. Then Impact Guns sent me notification they just got one in stock so like a sucker I bought that too. I figure I will keep buying that exact model so in case you know who gets elected in NOV I will have more than enough

I have 2 G19's and I could easily see getting another. Right now I only have 1 638 but I'm keeping my eyes peeled for a used one since $ is tight, and I want 2 of that one also.

I could easily see having multiples of a gun you think is a really good fit, especially considering the unknown nature of our political future.

*I'd never thought about it, but I did buy 3 of the same. I bought a KelTec P11 when they first came out (I actually had to get my dealer to order one for me) it has a 3 digit serial # it's so old. I liked it so I bought one for the wife, she didn't like it so I sold it. Then I thought I'd get a newer version 10 years later, but the old original shot/handles so much better that I sold the 3rd one. I still have the original (20 years now) and it's my EDC.

Everything else is in ones, twos, and three.

I've never been in possession of three firearms of the same make/model before. I've owned three of the same firearm, but never at the same time.

Let me think, I have 3 M-19's and I did have 3 M-57's, but down to 2 now. Probably some others.

Yea sure. Probably have 5 or 6 AKs. Had more. Had at least 12 Mosins and 5 Enfields.

Double in S&W 36, Glock 19, Glock 21, HK USP 9, HK P2000. Colt AR although technically different models.

Well, yes, a matter of fact, I have. I have five...yes, count them...five old model Ruger Vaqueros. Different barrel lengths, but the same kind.

These two in .357...

These two in .45 Colt...

And then this little Sheriff's model in .357.

Of course, I also have this Ruger Blackhawk, which is essentially the same as the old model Vaquero except that it has adjustable sights.

Someone once said that if you find something you really like, you'd better buy two of 'em because, chances are, they'll soon quit making them. In the case of the old model Vaquero...they were right. The new model frame is closer to the old Colt Peace Maker, but it won't hold up to those ol' wart hog loads like the old model will.

Just bought my third G 19, a 4th Gen. Have had the other two at least 10-15 years. I had uses for the three of them, though.

If you mean the exact same kind, yes. I have three Glock 17s but different generations, 3 Mauser K98k's but from different years and manufacturers. While those guns are all somewhat different from each other, I have three Korth Sport revolvers that are all chambered in .22 l.r. and manufactured in 1969.

And I also had three S&W M64s that were $199 each and have made great gifts for my sons.

We could start with 1911's but that might not be fair as NO two are exactly alike, not even the WWII versions. Or it could be 39-2's, but heck, 2 of them is never enough. Glock 19's, are more than 1 for each hand too many? OH WAIT, M&P's....no, one in 9, two in 40, one in .357SIG, not really the same. Garands, carbines, all military stuff is just like 1911's, all the same but all different.

OK, I didn't answer the question but it was fun trying.
