The Slouch Hat, as shown in the picture, is really a military type of head-dress worn by the Army. My father has one of these hats when he served with the Army Reserve.

Akubra Hats, in other designs, are very popular in Regional Australia. They are generally not something worn in the City. I have had one or two over my life. In fact, I think I have a Police Akubra Hat somewhere in my old work gear. I also have my late Father-In-Laws Akubra but I need to get it stretched out some.

Well it's New Years Eve here in Australia so it will be my last day for 2021. I might post and upload the odd Advertisement in the future. However I definitely will not be hunting them down in the same manner that has occurred this year.
