Everybody has one, why not show them?...J-Frames

My M36-2".(Though closer to 1.875")
My Mom bought it for my Dad(off-duty carry),used in '62 and it came with those grips.I'm not sure if they're factory or not,he never cared to find out. They just worked. The small screws on the trigger are for a trigger "shoe",deeply grooved and adds about a third or so to the trigger width. It really makes a difference in how secure it feels.

I've posted this before, and technically he doesn't fit within the "1980 to the present" category, but I figured I'd show my ca. 1971 Chief's Special again.

Not collector-grade by any stretch of the imagination, but he works perfectly fine as my EDC. Can't wait until my new Herrett Detective stocks arrive, too. :D

My old 642 with a CT grip that my ex-wife ended up with in the divorce. And my new edc M&P 340. To me the front sight, tougher finish, light weight make the 340 worth the extra money even if you never shoot 357 out of it.

Beautiful guns fellows, thanks for sharing.

I aso enjoy seeing what leather others use for their J frames.

My former Model 642. While a most excellent handgun, I prefer the Model 637.

The S&W Model 637-2 which was the result of trading in the Model 642.

Since concealment is a primary function of my 637, I got these Magna-style grips from Smith & Wesson. I grew up shooting a Model 36, so I developed the ability to shoot this revolver with the abreviated stocks.
