Everybody has one, why not show them?...J-Frames

I'll keep the Zombie thread alive...

My Model 60 357 mag.

Some mighty fine J frames you've all posted! I'll add another of my own. I grabbed the nearest paperback book for a size comparison when I took this photo last year, and if you look closely, I'm using the book to almost entirely cover the little J frame, leaving only a sliver of the muzzle peeking out so you know there is a gun under that book next to the twin 60 chambered in .357 nearby. That's a lotta power in a little package...

I did have Uncle Mike's boot grips, both the long and short versions on this gun, I fired it with the short grips, I didn't even notice the recoil. I wanted to see what the gun looked like with old style factory wood grips and a Tyler T grip adapter, and no way I can go back to the rubber grips, the wood feels better, seems less bulky, but I have not fired the gun with this combo yet. I hope to soon enough.

The j frames were the start of this addiction for me. Just love the little guys. I have a number of them, but this is my favorite because its the one I carry the most. Model 36 from about 1969, bought from a private seller at a gun show who threw in the vintage holster as part of the deal.

637 No Dash rarity

I picked this up some years ago, new, with intent to carry it but never have as I have other guns that I prefer so it has lanquished in it's box with all the stuff in my safe. Fired 12 times since new. According to Jinks it's one of less than 500 made with the clear anodized frame.
