Everybody has one, why not show them?...J-Frames

I'm sure she is a great shopper, but I believe that is nicer than anything she is likely to have brought home.

Nice work! :)

thanks, i'm a southpaw, that's why the stampings are on the left side.

Just got her back from Robar. Had a couple of other pictures, but they would not load. This is a 60-9, with Altamont Rosewood combat grips.

Going to add, beware of the Altamont grips. They do not have sufficient relief to except speed loaders. My Safariland speed loaders will not work with these grips. So much for "combat" grips!

I've got to get a J frame soon. I wonder how to get it past the wife. Maybe I should get his and hers. What do y'all think?

It works for me too. She doesn't like revolvers but she lives here auto loaders. So I have bought 2 guns several tines with her by my side. We both walk away happy and there is no hiding necessary!

M60-10 357, 3"

My one and only for now. loved it the first time I picked it up. shooting it only galvanized my feelings. Just as soon as I can find the perfect 3" 36, I will have another.

That clip looks interesting. How well do you like it, does it keep the gun in place without shifting, does it interfer with reloading?

Thanks. Frank

Here's a 442 I whittled on; chopped a quarter-inch off the butt and relieved the trigger guard for a "semi Fitz Special". The Black T finish is primo.

Before anyone gets excited, the serial number is also stamped into the yoke cut-out on this J.

Cool! You made a "Baby" Centennial with an I size grip frame like the Baby Chiefs Special.

You may have already thought of this and rejected it so that the bright color of the raw aluminum calls attention to your modification. If so, I understand.

But, you could come pretty close to matching the black finish on the rest of the frame by applying a little Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black to that area.

By the way, your modification is pretty neat looking. How does it work out while shooting?

Thanks for blazing the trail. :)

The entire piece was re-finished in Black T. I'll see if I can dig up a photo, or take another one.

The Tyler T-Grip helps control the beastie when shooting "duty" (+P) ammunition. The shortened butt really makes the piece disappear in a pocket. I imagine it would mean less printing if carried in a holster OWB on the belt, as well.
