I shot my first Smith & Wesson M&P in .40 S&W caliber this past week-end. It belonged to one of the CCW students attending the class I was helping out with. Needless to say, I was very impressed with it.

On Sunday, one of my fellow Security Team members at church advised me that a local S&W LE dealer was selling the M&P at a great price to those eligible for the discount.

I gave the dealer a call first thing today and confirmed I could pick up one for $406 against his regular $489 and the MSRP of $569. It came with neither an internal lock nor a magazine safety and included three (3) high capacity magazines.

Shortly after noon I closed the deal for it. I can't believe I'll EVER suffer "buyer's regret" on THIS one!

Nice buy, I plan on getting an M&P45c just as soon as I get the other guns that I need first.

Great gun at a great price. You can't do better than that than a free gun. I've shot the M&P40 as well and I want my wife to get one.
