Experience with Barry’s 9mm HBRN?

Wow, did this thread ever off the rails and into the twilight zone.

All I asked for was advise and personal experiences with a very specific bullet.

However, thanks for your input. I guess. It’s been entertaining but not very helpful.
I disagree. All the posts are relevant to handgun accuracy. As far as copper plated bullets, the general consensus is that they aren't as accurate as lead (either cast or swaged). Naked or coated or copper jacketed. I know that Rainier copper plated bullets wouldn't group well at distances like 25 yards or greater. For 5-10 yards, copper plated bullets will do the job. Just about any load will group well at those close distances if your pistol is up to the job. What distances do you shoot your 9mm pistol?

I have bought thousands of Berry bullets. One box is around five years old of 38 Wadcutters at 148 grain. I moved and while moving my gun stuff was stored for maybe 6 months at an un - air conditioned mini warehouse. The box of 148 grain Berry wadcutters corroded on the copper plating. Powder coated bullets from other manufacturers were unaffected.

I have since loaded and fired a hundred or so of the Berry's 148 grain wadcutters and the corrosion seems to not affect accuracy. It just looks bad. When I empty the box I am probably buying powder coated bullets to replace them.
