Exploded Model 10!

I have a Model 10 Rescue and will happily re-home any of your Model 10s :-)
PM me if you need to find a new home for yours :-)

What a maroon.
The residue of a nice gun lacks a top sideplate screw and is therefore no older than the mid 1950s. I could not see if it had a cylinder stop screw, dropped in 1961. I don't call a gun made in my lifetime "old."
Therefore it is probably a real Model 10 (H frame, right) and at least a "pre-10." And therefore probably "rated" for +P and in no way weak or poorly heat treated.
Grossly overloaded. In the great Detonating Bullseye Scandal, it took more than a double charge, at or near a triple charge to fragment a revolver like that.
What a maroon.
"Police Special" indeed. "H frame" phooey.

I am sorry to have reinforced bad behavior by adding to his hit count.
What a maroon.

I'm betting that if we sent this joker a brand new .500 he would find a way to overcharge and explode it and then blame the gun on YouTube. Any takers?

I imagine the clown would ignore the "black powder only" admonitions with a muzzleloader, stuff it with smokeless, wreck the gun, and blame the maker. An honorable man would have owned up to inadvertently loading up or firing an overload. I wonder if someone he ticked off loaded some ammo for him and slipped in a blue pill!

Perhaps he is not a fool, a "special kind of stupid", a maroon, an idiot or a buffoon. I clicked on the pretty girl firing a .45. The video ends with a sales pitch for product. He may have acquired the 10 for nearly nothing solely to get us to look at his ads.

On a different topic:

[...] Although the 38/357 is one of my favorite cartridges I do hate that the case fill is so low. I would pay Winchester more money for a bulked up W231 that would fill 2/3rd of the case. Probably fix the position sensitivity issues as well.

Chris

Hercules developed Red Dot to be a powder with Bulleye’s burning rate that will fill the space in 12 gauge trap loads. Double charging a light .45 ACP target load will over flow powder unto your shell holder. It doesn’t over flow a .38 special but it sure makes it easy to spot a double if you peek into the case. Hercules is now Alliant but Red Dot is still Red Dot.

This guy needs some serious help from a manicurist... Maybe that's who the girl is (?) ! His hang nails could have gotten tangled up in the cylinder, and maybe what ever he was using to weigh his powder.

You betcha...all it would take is a case full of TiteGroup to take the top off a 500!

I am offended that he puts a number of factory ammo boxes in his photos but never addresses the question of reloads vs. factory ammo. This guy is one of the many who do stupid stunts to put on Youtube.

Friend made his Mod 29 look identical with a bad handload. S&W sold him a new one for cost. Cudos to S&W since not their fault in the least.

'Splain me sumthin, If the shooter was shooting "rapid fire" why are there empty chambers on the bottom of the cylinder and a loaded round on either side of the half missing chamber lined up with the barrel?

Well he timed it right he can get a SMITH AND WESSON MODEL 10 38SPL POLICE TRADE REVOLVERS from Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore for $299.99 they have 10 of them good deal?

Ahh, YouTube! The place where future Darwin Award winners congregate to show us how stupid too many gun owners are.

This is why I ONLY shoot at my range on weekday mornings and in a foot of snow.
