The threaded collar came apart on mine and I'm looking for a replacement. See pic for damaged head and pics from Chicoine of what I need. In the parts list it's number 651.

Ideas and suggestions welcome.

How did that happen?

That part can very easily be machined.

Check with Gun Parts Company/Numrich. Look at 2nd Model and 3rd Model .44 Hand Ejector, and Model 1917. These should be identical I believe.

Numrich doesn't list those guns anymore. The 1917 had the one piece extractor rod.

As to how it happened, it just popped off when I was shooting and went to eject the empties.

My theory: this British gun spent some time in some shady bars on the south side of London and caught something.

It's well-travelled. Who knows?

Contacting parts houses - No bueno so far.

Will consult with my machinist neighbor soon.

Also found a thread from 2020 with some helpful clues.

Stay tuned.

I have a couple of very early K screw on mushroom shaped ejector rod heads that might be able to be reworked to fit. My best guess is that the threads are the same as N. Just need to reshape the outside with checkering/knurling files. LMK
