Anyone have delivery problems with this company?
I placed an order on 5/16 took 6 days to ship on 5/22 checked UPS tracking this package seems to visited 4 different places since then from Spokane Wash. now in Maryland I live in NJ. I know the charge was 5.00 but I would have sprung for the extra chg. if I had known this The pony express would have been faster. Wouldn't be complaining except for the reason I ordered when I was down to 200 bullets when I ordered. I have been without for over a week

I ordered bullets on the 21st, they shipped on the 23rd, today the UPS site shows them on the truck and "out for delivery" so I'll have them by noon. Being on the left coast I am closer but that's pretty fast IMO (considering this was a holiday weekend).

I placed a large order on 5/3 and received on 5/22 - did not get shipping notice until around 5/16 - I suspect with their recent charge and current promotion they got slammed with a larger than normal volume of orders.

I have ordered many times from there "in-stock" list and have gotten the delivery in less than a week every time. I think Mcwsky09 has something and they got slammed with their new promotion and new agreement with UPS that got shipping down to $5. Because before they were using USPS bulk shipping.

Spokane, Wash to Hodgkins, Ill 5 days I know UPS has a plan that transfers shipments over to USPS for the actual delivery
info was received at the USPS transfer depot in Bellmawr NJ yesterday it should be here by Friday 5/31. Going back to my original supplier it cost 13.00 per 500, but ill get it in around 4-5 days via USPS priority

I think you guys that need bullets within 5 days need to rethink your supply plan. Why not order long enough in advance so you don't run out? I know that "just in time" supply is the current manufacturing mantra, but don't put yourself at the mercy of all kinds of possible problems with your order getting to you on time (weather, truck crashes, gets lost) I never get below 5000 bullets on hand at any time. I don't mind having that much in stock, it's not like they're going to spoil.

Never had a problem until my last order. It took almost two, weeks, for an in stock bullet. I'm not sure what's going on, though.

I prefer not involving USPS in any shipping. I sent a letter to the SS office 10 miles away. Eight days later, after going from FL to NY and back again it was finally delivered.

I placed an order for 1000 rounds and it did take 10 days..but it came...Rusty

I ordered from them yesterday and got a email today that they were shipped.

Lately they seem to be taking about a week or a bit more to ship an order and that is a bit unusual for them, in the past they've been pretty good about getting an order shipped within 1 or two days. I suspect the delay is due to more people getting their bullets from Extreme because they are the best bargain on the Net I've found. I can also attest that west if the Mississippi UPS seems to operate at a snales pace. Once my orders hit St. Louis it's usually in my hands within a day or two. End result is that an order placed on May 9 didn't get to me until May 27.

That doesn't bother me because I don't wait until I'm down to nothing to place an order. Typically I like to have 2000-3000 bullets of each of my calibers on hand at all times. So once I'm down to something like 2000-2500 I start watching for a sale and place my order to take advantage of Extreme's many sales.

The lesson to be learned here is to plan for shortages and use dollar cost averaging when there isn't a shortage in play. Because as sure as the evening news will be on every night they be hyping any nut job shooting event and pushing for more Gun Control.

That is what I am trying to do - instead of paying premium - or even local sales prices - for small quantities just when I am out - watch for deals and sales and order enough to last a good long while - then order more whenever the sales prices drop below my threshold regardless of what my inventory level is - with the one caveat that I am avoiding any purchase that will result in credit card interest since that negates the savings.

I placed an order earlier this month, from on hand stock. It finally shipped on the 20th. Package was routed through: Spokane, WA, Hermiston, OR, Commerce City, CO, Salina, KS, Oklahoma City, Little Rock, and then finally to Mountain Home today. Eight days later.
Sure made a lot of stops.
But, I only paid $5.00 for shipping, and I was not in a hurry to get the bullets.

I do not wait until I NEED Bullets. It is the matter of paying MORE to get LESS.That seems to be a prevailing business practice in this economy.Shipping used to be free and it got here within a Week from the order date,Now I pay $5 to get it here in Two Weeks.....Come on!

When I was shooting Xtreme bullets, it could take nearly two weeks before they landed on my step. Once I got the bullets, they never did disappoint though.

It happens.....

Shippers sometimes seem to go around there elbow to get to their thumb but it usually arrives in a timely matter. However, when something goes out of kilter, it's amazing how a package seems to go everywhere EXCEPT its destination. In this age of computers mistakes can be propagated at 20 Megaflops.

From now on I will keep a larger supply on hand the last ones I bought were at a gun show same price per 1000 as Extreme. Going to the show this weekend and pick up 1k more. I went through them in 3 weeks, hope to get some powder too.

I'd love to hear about alternatives to Xtreme *sigh* I've ordered some in stock bullets on 5/16; 2 weeks later I got email that it's shipped (no tracking or anything) and still didn't get anything; so tomorrow is going to be 3 weeks for in stock merchandise... I don't think I want to deal with this company until they pull themselves together :(

I ordered 2K Xtreme 9mm 124gr RN on 6/4, got shipping notice today, 6/5, UPS Ground with tracking #.

You might give them a call, I ordered bullets on 5/21, they shipped on 5/23(with a tracking number), I received them 5/28. Sounds like something is screwed up with your order.

I finally received them, 3 weeks, the problem was transportation, although they sat on them for 6 days before shipping, 5 days from Spokane to Hodgkins Ill then to Ohio to PA and to Maryland and finally to NJ. Traveled more than a politician on a campaign trip. I must add I am happy with them , look like jewels in the box, I will order from them again.

I think Xtreme has a sister company in like Idaho which is handling their online orders. I noticed their time stamp is now 2 hours different than when I place the order.

It used to take 2 days for shipping
To me in Cali from Nevada

Never had a problem with them. I would suggest it lies with UPS -- they get 95% of our business. :) JMO, but a bit of bad planning on your part-- JMHO. :)

I order when they have sales and am never in a hurry. Shipping is typically 2-3 business days and delivery in 5-7 business days. No complaints other than I need more shelf space!!!

They finally sent me tracking info. Unbelievable: UPS processed order at 5/23, picked up on 5/30 and estimated delivery is 6/9 - gives you a new definition of snail mail.

9 business days isn't all that bad with a Holiday in the mix.

The 5/23 is probably the ticket date generated by XTREME (label entered into the system, not necessarily printed/...) which was the Friday before Memorial day. Maybe it didn't really get through packaging at XTREME until a couple days after Memorial day. I'd bet their new contract only has pickup once or twice per week to keep costs down, knowing they'll be getting a lot of heavy packages at once.

I'd say not bad myself for the value. Life isn't instant at these prices. Go look at what next day freight would have cost you for something this heavy.

Ordered on the 28th of May not due at my house till the 9th of June. Not in a hurry but it is pretty slow. I guess as was mentioned above for the weight and the price only being 5 bucks I won't complain. I have plenty of bullets I can load before this gets here.
