Factory pair of Jarvis-engraved .357's

I didn't know that there was such a thing. To quote my grandma from many years ago,"well my goodness"! I'll just bet the Smithsonian would love to get their mittens on that pair. I agree with with Sal, you win, I'll just sneek out the side door. Thank you very much for posting those. The internet, and more specific, this website has given folks like me, who live in small cities and towns, a chance to see things that we can enjoy out of the goodness of the hearts of those who post them.
Thank You,
DLB

These are surpassingly excellent in configuration and execution. They remind of the works of earlier centuries, when guns were adorned to become jewels of the art.

While we have come to expect to see art of the highest order here, these may raise the bar a notch or two.

Thanks and good stewardship to you!

Regards,

Dyson

Dyson, and all other commentors

Thanks for all the comments. I appreciate it.

Stewardship is exactly what it is, not only with this pair of guns, but with all the others.
At some point, they get to be on someone else's watch.

Regards, Mike

Hi Mike, and thank you for sharing your two beautiful Smiths. I have but one engraved handgun, a Colt 1911 in .38 Super. Mine has a nickel base finish, with gold overlay and engraving. The grips are Mother of Pearl, and overall it is a "Stylin" piece. It shoots great as well.
I live in on 14 acres in West Linn and have a range down in our woods, and I have been a member of Tri County Gun club since about 1978. Send me a PM if you'd like to go shooting or just spend a little time sharing our S&W collections with each other.
Thanks again for your post.

Lynn
