Well I have acquired about 300 gun boxes from a Texas gun shop that went out of business in the early 80's. There are prob at least 100 to 150 revolver boxes. All revolver boxes are RUGER, SMITH & WESSON, or COLT.

I wonder who bought all the guns without their box and paperwork?

Many gun shops decades ago sold guns out of the display case and customer could have cared less about the box or contents.
There have been numerous such stories about boxes getting thrown in dumpster years later and still not being "collectible" like they are on todays market.
