Factory Target Stocks, Birds Eye Maple

One of my guns letters as being a special order.

The 3 1/2 barrel, red post, two tone aka pinto,and birdseye stocks were most likely all requested.I find it pretty neat that the unrelieved stocks predate the revolver by quite a spell.

I bought these S&W early K-frame stocks made of birds eye maple on ebay about a year ago. I don't know how many pairs of stocks were made using this wood, but you don't see many.
