I had my 15-22 out for it's maiden voyage today, and boy was it a lot of fun. No ejection problems like so many other people have described, but I did have a few failures to feed. It was very cold out, so I only shot 6 magazines full, but 4 of them had a ftf after about 12-14 shots.
I don't know if this is a gun problem or a magazine problem.
In each case, the round that failed to feed came up vertically instead of horizontally and then jammed so bad in the magazine that I had to take the magazine apart to dislodge the round.
I was very careful how I loaded the magazines, and I used ammo from the approved list (Federal bulk and CCI mini mags) both with equal results.
I know it will take some time to break in the gun, but I hope this jamming doesn't continue too much longer or it may have to go back to S&W too. Any thoughts?
