fake service dogs

I have, a couple times, gotten a tad ticked off at this myself. Mostly it involved poop in aisle 27 at Home Depot. I complained to the store manager, telling him I was deathly allergic to dogs. If the person has a legitimate service animal then I'll leave, but if it's just a con could you ask them to leave? Every retail manager is aware of this issue and they all have a policy to follow.

If the person can't produce proper documentation or explain why that's anything more than an Amazon vest then they have actually asked them to leave.

But I can be an unpleasant, cantankerous, confrontational individual at times. If you don't believe me, you can ask my wife! She likes it when I'm that way taking care of her stuff, not so much when I just go off.

The local Lowes stores allow dogs into their stores, not just service animals.

Somehow my snowflake neighbor's lawyer got our HOA to bow down and approve her emotional support cat in a community where pets are prohibited to live or visit

Then, of course, we have the emotional support peacock:

Fake people have fake service dogs.

People who have emotional support animals also have a safe space in their homes.

Merely a continuation of the abuse of handicapped placards and other such programs. Some folks like to game the system for personal benefit without regard to others that are legitimately in need.

That's a fact!

Here in Colorado lots of people take their dogs everywhere. It seemed strange at first, but now I kind of like it. My wife thinks its strange I always say hi to the dogs and never the people.

Despite my best efforts at socializing him as a puppy, once grown Randy decided there are ten people in the world he likes and the rest are up to no good. I'd love to take him with me in my travels.

I have all of you beat, I see more dogs in one day than many of you see in a year.

Since retirement I took a job with the county driving veterans to the VA clinic. Not a bad part time job but I swear every veteran owns a pit bull as a fake service dog. Seems like every day there are dog fights in the clinic.

We will not transport emotional support animals, only service dogs. We are hoping for some type of legislation that the riders have to provide proof of service dog training. At present if the vet says it's a service dog we have to take his word for it.
