Incredible movie. Very moving scene. Worthy of it's reading....:

Saving Private Ryan.

This was read by the actor playing General George Marshall in the scene where he makes the decision to send the unit led by Tom Hanks' character to find the last living Ryan brother after two of his brothers were killed on D-Day and a third brother was killed in the Pacific.

It's funny: I am watching that movie right now on DVD, took a break to log in here, and found this post.

no not tank girl. ill post the whole quote ....But are my eyes blind that I must fall to my knees to worship a maniac who has made of my country a concentration camp, who has made of my people slaves? Must I kiss the hand that beats me, lick the boot that kicks me, no! I rather spend my whole life living in this dirty hole than escape to fight again for things I do not believe against people I do not hate. As for your Hitler, it's because of a man like him that God - my God - created hell!
