Faster reloading 627 Pro

Here is a link to ponder. Reloading Tips - precisionbullets.com It's from Precision Bullets website. The problem with the roll crimp on non-crimp groove, coated/plated bullets is the fact that the crimp will cut through the coating/plating and cause leading, which is one reason to use coated/plated bullets. If there is no coating or the coated/plated bullet has a crimp groove then yes, roll crimp if you like. Hope this helps
BTW- Since there are no official rules, anyone may do as they please.

I have found the fastest way to get the moon clips in is to get the cylinder as vertical as possible and grip the moon clip only. Even if the bullets are a little loose in the clip they will hang straight down allowing them to slide in with minimal interference.
What works for me is to line up my middle finger withe the space at 1 o'clock between the holes and drop it in.
The more I practice the more consistent I am.
