Agreed. It's hard to beat the Uncle Mike's Boot Grip. The Hogue Bantam Grip are also a good option. Finally, if you need some more rubber, Sile makes a slightly longer but flat J frame grip. Don't care much for wood on a carry J frame, other than factory magnas and a Tyler T.
Those Sile grips made the difference between hating my 442 and begin able to actually train with it. Thanks NCBeagle for showing me the light.![]()

They were offered by S&W ( don't know maker) some time ago. I purchased these NIB from a forum member. I don't pocket carry my 642, but would imagine the grips may be a little large for that. However, they are not "sticky", so that would help.![]()
I find these grips fit my hand perfect for ultra concealment.
