Since a week of cold turkey sammichs usually follows Thanksgiving , what other cold sammichs do you like?

They can be simple as ham & cheese on rye , a triple decker club or a complex hoagie.

A good Italian or roast beef hoagie is at the top of my list. Oil & vinegar , hot peppers and NO ONIONS!

A simple Zep is good too.

Chicken salad club on lightly toasted wheat is another.

Cold roast beef with mustard and lettuce on whitebread is the best sandwich ever.

For me its a toss-up between a good Reuben or a Cuban. Must be constructed true to their heritage.
Then we have the call of a good tuna sammich', on a tasty wheat. Need a bowl of tomato soup with that on a cold day.

Favorite is roast beef, mayo, lettuce, horse radish, provolone cheese on a good kaiser roll.

But I do like me some egg salad with mayo, lettuce, banana peppers, black olives and white American cheese on a homemade wheat bread.

I like a lot of them, chicken salad, tuna salad, egg salad, roast beef, ham, turkey.
Hard to pick just one, depends on my mood.
To me, the bread is key. FRESH Italian, French, or even a good sesame hamburger bun makes any sandwich good.
My grandpa used to fix a slice of cheese with butter on fresh bread when we went squirrel hunting, and I still like that.

Tuna on a spinach pita with guacamole, lettuce, tomato, red onions, black olives, sweet and yellow peppers and a dash of vinegar from Blimpy's.
Other wise a tuna on rye toast with lettuce and tomato will get me thru.

Peanut butter and mayo on French bread thin slice of onion, with a pickled jalapeno on the side.
