Favorite holster for packing a Model 69?

I have a Smith Model 69, 2 3/4-inch, arriving Monday and am looking for a good-quality high-ride holster, preferably with thumb snap and that covers the whole barrel. Belt is 1 3/4 inches. This holster would be for outdoors carry, but should also be concealable with a shirt that's not a tuck-in. I have several like this from Columbia. I am 5' 8" and 170 if that makes any difference.

DeSantis also makes a nice belt scabbard for it. But it might be for a 3”. But if you don’t mind that Xtra 1/4” it’s worth checking out.

Good choice IMO.
For versatility, have it punched for the inside-outside straps and for a nominal fee, get a Chesty Puller rig. If like me, you'll end up with additional SD pancakes for other models so the straps and harness will get more use.

You need to specify if you want a thumb snat at the top or a finger snap on the side of the holster.
Simply Rugged does not do anything with the thumb strap on top.

I just saw where 1791 Leather makes one specifically for the 69. I have no experience with their products but it looks nice.

Another recommendation for Simply Rugged. While it doesn’t have a thumb snap, it’s very secure. I wear mine while Kayak Fishing and have never had a security issue. Best wishes

I just purchased one from simply rugged. Mine is for the 4.25" model with optics cutout. I like it so far.

Milt Sparks makes some fine IWB holsters. Had a Summer Special a while back. It's just that I am not about to go out and start buying jeans with larger waist sizes.
