Favorite S&W

I would have to take my 629, that now sports a 4" 45 cal barrel and has the cylinder done to fire 45acp or 45 Colt.

But, I don't plan on cutting down to one. I am going to keep adding. A 32 cal is next.

THIS IS MY GEN THREE, THIS IS MY GUN!!! THIS IS FOR FIGHTING, THIS IS FOR FUN!!! :D

These threads make me sad in a strange way. I could not decide which one to keep, and I think about all the friends I would be loosing.

I really envy the "One gun guy" in some ways. Not that I want to be forced into that situation.

I envy the guy who has one gun that is perfect for him, and has no desire to have anymore.

If I had to choose, right now it would be my 1911pd. Easiest way to carry some real fire power.

Probably the best choice would be my 340pd, tough to beat a gun that can be easily put into a pocket.

I'm already second guessing my decision, maybe instead of the 1911. I'd grab my 327,,,,,,

The more I shoot it, the more I like my 25-2. That's just how I feel about it today, though.

Thats a tough one, but since I'm more of a revolver guy id grab one of my 5" Bbl 629 DX's.

My 29-2. A very versatile handgun.
I am glad I am not faced with the decision of choosing a single piece. I would be forced to deceive whoever does the verification.

If I could have only one S&W, it would be this:

A real beauty still somewhat concealable for carry and potent with the .357mag option.

Yep, same here. Great minds think alike! Nothing like a 19/66 snubbie to get things done!

Only one?!? I'd have to go with this Model 15 passed along to me when my father died.

If not that one, I'd go with this 3.5" Model 27. I consider it to be the most practical as I can shoot any 38/357 loads from mild to wild as they say.

Would like to get my hands on a 29, but based on what I've got; my 2" pre-model 10 affectionately known as "Lefty"
