One second does not sound very fast. World record is .208 including reaction time. McGivern fired five shots accurately in 4/10s of a second. Guess that did not include a draw or reaction time.
On this deal sounds like the timer started when the G Man started his draw. So with reaction time would be over a second.
Would be a nice thing to add to your Registered Magnum paraphernalia.

Bob Mundon held the world record fast draw for many years until his record was challenged as not being authenticated. I really don't care since his videos show a remarkable fast draw of 0.2 second as noted but who is counting at that speed!! Oh, I forgot to mention he is a very modest guy.;)

"I didn't think he was with the Federal Bureau of Underachievers. "

Sorry, typos come easy to us low vision types.

A difference with the Don Mundon comparison is that the agent starts with his hand on the time, then draws and fires double action and not fanning a hammer with his off hand.

At the Masters International Shooting Championship, held for over 20 years, the action shooting stage there were numerous competitors whose 1st shot (from the surrender position), would be in the .200 to .300 of a second. Doug Koenig would consistently be in the low .200's and he was the overall winner numerous times.
