Fed Ex Rant!

I do not know what the heck has been going on with fedex lately, but they have had far too many screwups to list. Not planning on using them for anything WE have to ship, that's for sure.

In my experience pending means never.

I must admit that when I saw "pending" against my rifle I did choke a little. Mind you, by then it had made it through the Los Angeles sorting office so the major danger was over.

While I've never had a package lost using UPS there have been two times that FedEx has. Both were large boxes containing patio furniture and both times the shipper resent the packages.

On the plus side our Fed Ex driver is a really great guy.

Update: Had a conversation with a very nice lady at Springfield Armory yesterday. They are shipping my order again at no charge. Got e-mail today with new tracking number and expected delivery on Friday. 

I've said it before, Springfield Armory has the best customer service in the business. 

Now if Fed Ex can manage not to lose this one.

UPDATE: the second order arrived this morning right on schedule. All is good.

After sitting in Olive Branch, MS for over 10 days, tracking is now showing the original order is on the move again. It left Sacramento, CA this morning.

This was shipped Fed Ex Ground which uses a completely separate hub. And No, it was not going to be handed off to USPS.

Well the first issue I see is that some of you assume that "ground" shipping means in a motorized vehicle......
