Federal 357 fusion 158 grain

I do not know anything about this ammunition. Does anyone know if it is good for self-defense or hunting or both. I purchased 40 rounds the other day but am curious what board members think about it.

I don't have any actual experience with these, but on hunting forums I have heard very good things about Federal Fusion rifle ammo. I have two boxes of the 95 grain .243, but have not used any yet. I think the bullets are supposed to hold together very well for increased penetration in the rifle rounds, and I suppose the same would be true of handgun ammo.

The Fusion load is a purpose designed hunting load and not intended for SD.
