Federal License How?

I know of no ATF regulation that requires a separate commercial storefront, but would be very grateful if someone could direct me to a specific ATF regulation, just in case I missed it and my ATF inspector is unaware it exists. When I was inspected by the ATF last spring, I specifically asked about changing my listed class one FFL hours to do internet sales only, from my home, with face to face sale transactions by appointment only. I was told it would not be a problem and that I would only be required to set a minimum of hours for one day to allow ATF to do the one yearly unannounced inspection they are permitted to make....For example, Tuesdays 1:00-5:00 pm. They are required to do it within your selected hours of business and can't just show up in the middle of the night or outside of the hours of business you have listed. More than one inspection and they are required to schedule it with the license holder in advance.
There is ATF requirements for a "licensed premises" for conducting business and one cannot obtain a license just for gun shows and/or flea markets. However, once a license is obtained for the "licensed premises", the licensee may do business at any legitimate gun show within the boundaries of the same state, but all transfer records must be kept at the "licensed premises". I have no state restrictions at my location but there are some states that have some pretty draconian laws added to the equation...The People Republic of Kalifornia comes to mind as a prime example. ATF, for the most part, has been quite reasonable to deal with over the 20 years I've had my FFL. I have heard a few horror stories about other FFL holders that were not so fortunate in their dealings with ATF, but as we all know, any law enforcement agency has it's share of badge heavy jerks, so there have probably been a few license applications denied at the whims of such people, even though they met the requirements.
