Going to order a fiber optic front sight for my Shield. Think I've settled on one from 10-8 Performance. I have the height I need nailed down (.160"), just trying to pick the width. According to a blog I read, factory width is .135" - options on 10-8's website are .100, .110, .115, and .125. Makes sense to me to get the largest, but wondered if anyone has a recommendation? Thanks.

If you like FO Truglo give the advantage of tritium too. The thinner the sight the less of the target it will cover making long shots more accurate. On a Shield however I can't really see you using it much beyond 25 yds so it's not really an issue. If you have factory night sights just put a Truglo on the front. Or maybe a set of Trijicon HD's if you don't have the night sights.

I put the Williams Fire Sights on my Shield and haven't looked back! They are amazing and work great. Look them up. The price is right as well.
