Recently I was moved to rescue a stainless .357 at a pawn store...well I was bitten and since have picked up a nice 64-3 and an abused 65-2 that I think will clean up all right.
I believe that my second S&W was a 66 no dash. It cemented the
biting that took place when I picked up a well used Model 19-4.
And then the
bites caused a
sickness, which quickly turned into a
terminal disease when I picked up my first pre-war K-22. Then I had to have the boxes, the tools, the paperwork, the brochures...

So...my advice, IMMEDIATELY SELL ALL OF YOUR S&Ws!!! STOP VISITING THIS FORUM and STAY AWAY FROM GUNBROKER, OTHER AUCTION SITES and LOCAL GUN STORES.


Otherwise, recognize that "resistance is futile", check the forum at least once a day, surf all of the major gun auction websites for value priced S&Ws, start looking for correct boxes/grips/paperwork etc, and enjoy your "assimilation" into the most enjoyable disease known as Smith & Wesson.



BTW - love the 64, 65, 66 you've already collected.
