After several years of being out bid on GB and way over paying for one on GB that I had to send back. I was finally able to score my first 686-4 3" to complete my collection. Thanks to a long time member on the forum that answered my WTB add. He contacted me and we were able to get it done!!

Beautiful Revo... The 3" Revolvers are addictive for their utility and ease of carry and presentation. My 3" .44's go everywhere with me and I can hit out to 100 yards with ease. They do everything the longer versions can do with less weight and are faster on target!

That's a unicorn. I had to take it off my grail gun list due to the prices. I remember seeing one on GB last year with a buy it now of $1600 and I should have went for it. I don't think any have sold lower since

Very nice!!

I was absolutely shocked to see my grail 686 pop up on a local forum in California. I will post pictures of it when I bring it home this week. But I'll give you a hint, it's a 3" Performance center....and it's pre-lock

Had one and sold it to a relative that really wanted it. Regret letting it go.

Hey OP good for you on snagging the -4. Great for any collection. I too had to settle for a -6.

Next Path...

It's good to see a fellow member replied to your WTB and that you were able to get the revolver you've been on the hunt for, after the few years of searching. With the end of one journey brings the beginning of another. So what's next?

After seeing the post, I had gotten mine out to check it out, wipe it down and to wax the grips. Since it was out, the original combats were off and I had a new pair of grips that had not been on anything yet, it was a good time for a picture. Here's mine wearing Culina's Gaboon Ebony.
