Finally. I give you, my GRAIL gun. 27-2 3 1/2".... It's BLUE!!

I learned allot searching for this one. About 3-4 years ago I had my choice of any 3 in this condition, w/ everything. I walked. The seller wouldn't move at all on his price. I haven't seen a viable candidate since.....(in a 3 1/2" that is!)

By chance, about 2 weeks ago I saw one for sale locally. Three days ago I saw it in person. Lets put it this way. "Patience is a virtue" and sometimes "Good things come to those who wait!"

I can, on occasion, say patience my butt! I want blood guts and veins in my teeth! In this case, being patient paid off...


There are many but this one is MINE!

VERY VERY Nice example of a N Serial 27-2 3.5 Inch Revolver...In my opionion the 3.5 inch Barreled 27 or Pre 27's are the greatest revolvers on this planet....

Thanks guys. I really am glad that I landed this one. I have some 27's as you know but for me, now I have "the" 27 that I 've always wanted.

It came with standard non-numbered targets that were put on back then, (1976 ish) that were just OK. If you remember some time ago, a gent ran a Forum Fundraiser w/ these smooth targets. I wanted them badly, for this reason. It was a win win. Lee got some banana's and I put these grips back for the illusive 3 1/2" Blue you see here.
