They are good pistols. Everyone in our gun shop bought one and we are selling a lot of them. All of the 9's are gone but the 40's aren't moving as fast. It's my regular carry now.

I have a 40c and a 357c but still may end up with a 9mm Shield. Very nice and congrats!

Thanks. Originally I wanted a Glock 42 but then I did some research and found so many reviews favoring the Shield. They were right: it looks good, it shoots good, feels great in the hand and many of my friends are now considering getting one. I will be taking my CCW classes on the 31st and 1st. Cannot wait to carry this baby!
So not wanting to be an arse, but I'm going to assume the reason the safety is on in your picture is because that really is an FMJ round I can see in there. If so, well... I don't know what else to say except...I'll just hope that in the second picture the gun isn't loaded.

Congrats. Great gun. I hope your finger being on the trigger is just a Photoshop effect. Just in case I am wrong here are the four rules of gun safety.
