First day of a new internet service. I live in the mountains with lots of pine trees. We had Verizon wifi and it worked o.k., albeit somewhat slow on 3G. Well, they finally switched to 4G a couple months ago and it has been pure hell trying to connect. A spendy product for no service. Today we switched to Hughs Internet. So far, so good. Speed is very acceptable, but more importantly, we have internet. Have a dish on the garage, will have to remove snow, but do that now for the Dish t.v. We have a thirty day trial run, then have to commit to two years. Hope it works. Fingers crossed.

I never got to try the spray "Break free" stuff, in the winter time,

since we went to another server due to a tall, neighbors tree and things,
after a years time.

I also live in a "remote location." Couldn't wait to dump HughesNet - slow speeds and poor customer service - and go to StarLink. Super fast. I also got to disconnect the landline and go to cell phone over the wifi. Very happy with the service, if not with Mr. Musk.

We're on Starlink also. It works great. The only hitch I've had is ordering from Walmart. Starlink reports our position as California which upsets things when I try to order from Walmart.
