Lately with all the 2nd amendment **** going on, it is so hard to find any 9mm ammo. If you do find it, it's the really expensive boxes. Wally doesn't even have any boxes. I've checked multiple Walmart stores in the area and their ammo cases are always empty of everything. Maybe some not so popular ammo is there but nothing I need. I did find some 9mm remingtons at Dunhams but they were like $16.00 a box. Had to buy those just because there isn't any ammo anywhere else. When I first got my Shield in April, the gun was the hardest thing for everyone to find. Now it's the ammo for it. Anyone else not finding ammo? Also, why do you think there is a shortage? The scare?

Over the last week or so I have been in several different stores that sell 9MM ammo. A couple places were out or had one or two boxes at most. The others had a few more boxes but it was expensive PD ammo or something like American Eagle 147 grain FMJ. The small local chain had a adequate supply but for about 50% more than I usually pay at Walmart.

Wall Mart is currently licking Obamas boot, and not restockig ammunition untill futher notice.Ammoman has 4 diffrent types in stock

I've picked up 750rounds of 9mm from checking in at the WalMart in town in the mornings over the last 2-3 weeks. They've just put limits on stuff however, 2boxes of the same kind per person. Picked up 400rounds just on Monday.

My LGS just sold me a case of Speer 9mm for $300. He will take care of me when the chips are down because I make sure that I give him enough business through out the year to make him happy.

I just picked up a couple of boxes of the Winchester NATO 124grn at Dicks. I bought it while holding my nose though 16 bucks a box. 9mm is scarce for sure. Although I was at Cabelas last weekend and they had a ton of it. Herters and PMC mostly. May have to make a return trip soon to stock up

Walmart has been barren of 9 although they must have gotten some in as I saw the 2 per customer signs

Wall Mart is about MONEY as in profit! They don't give a fat rats butt what Obummer wants. When the heat dies down they will sell what ever they can get their hands on.

I just finished reloading 1,500 9mm rounds and my total cost was less than $200. I still have primer, powder, and cases, but ran out of bullets. There is another 1,000 on the way.

I can reload cheap because I get cases free. The range where I shoot is covered with empty cases. There are a lot of LEOs shooting there and they never collect their brass.

I just refuse to pay the local prices on ammo when I know I can get it soo much cheaper online, whens it becomes available again, even natchez has limited you to 5 boxes now and thats only if its in stock. I have stuck to CCI Blazer ammo cause it seems to have less left over mess to cleanup in my M&Ps but that seems to be hit or miss period now and I am afraid to try a cheaper ammo again.

My local Walmart has not raised their prices on ammo, but they say they are getting fewer shipments, and it sells out within an hour of hitting the shelves. The Sporting Goods Manager told me he had tried increasing the quantity ordered, to see if they would ship more. He said it made no difference as some days ammo comes in and other days he gets nothing, even though he has a constant order placed for handgun and rifle ammo.
