Does anyone know of anyone who has magazines in stock? I have my original one, and I have two more on order from S&W, but I got my postcard today informing me they were back ordered and I would have to wait 4-6 weeks. I was hoping to try to make myself one of the short 10-round magazines, but I don't want to mangle my one good magazine if/when I mess it up and have to wait 4-6 weeks for my two new ones. I'm awfully impatient also, so I was hoping to order another one to make into the 10-rounder while I wait. :D

Thanks for any suggestions.

44mag.com has them in stock. That's where I bought my extra ones from a while back.

I placed an online order with S&W for 2 mags on 3/20, subsequently got a postcard they were on back order, email received yesterday 4/6 that they were shipped.

man, that place charges outrageous shipping. 10 bucks shipping for one magazine.

i have had two on order from S&W for three weeks now and no word. i am about ready to cancel that order. hard to see how it takes that long on mags. they must be selling a lot of these 15-22s

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Cabelas is back-ordered 3-4 weeks last time I checked.

I called Smith and ordered 3 mags, when they told me that the ones they are shipping out now are the new revision mags.
All the other places I checked still had the old style.
I'll wait to get the updated ones.

.44mag got mine to me in two days. I ordered them last week.

the magazines advertised at .44 mag are listed as the "New Type".
does anyone know if they are the new one's, or does S&W only carry the new one's?

Another vote for 44mag.com. I ordered 7 mags from them, got them in under a week. All are the newer versions.

thumbs up to 44mag.com. just got mine and it was the new kind. got stuck on the shipping but i only ordered one. i'd hope the shipping would not be exponentially as expensive for more.

I ordered two from 44mag on Wednesday and they should be here on Saturday.

After ordering mine from S&W the first of the week, I called them today and was told it would be about 4 weeks to get the mags.
I canceled my order, and ordered from 44mag today. They'll be here next week.
I can't figure why Smith takes a month to ship out mags.

Magazines for what? I missed something here...

yea i am calling them monday and canceling if they are still out. it has been 3 weeks. i got the mag from 44mag in 2 days

Canceled mags from S&W, ordered from 44mag on Friday, they came today. That's service. Cheaper too.
They ARE the new revision ones.

Not trying to make anyone jealous but my local store had 9 on the shelf. I bought 5. lol. 22.99 plus 8.3% tak was well worth it.

You guys are frustrating me! I'm in a 10 round State and have no choice but to go through S&W. It's been four weeks and nothing. Anyone know where 10 rounders might be available on the web?

yes, rrages.com

i am on hold with S&W to cancel my order. this is ridiculous. i know they are a hot product but if i can get it cheaper quicker somewhere else then i will.

HalfSwiss you can also order the mags from 44Mag and restrictors on ebay and then you have 10 round mags.

Hey props on the 44mag link. I ordered 2 mags from S&W on the 11th and they told me 4 weeks. I just placed my order at 44mag, wish I knew about them sooner.
