Finishing Up My Cabin

I'll make an observation about you, When you go to do something you go all the way.

I happily wait for more pictures. (of the cabin) :):):)
 
This is a family story that should be talked about for many generation. Fantastic looking cabin! I would love to have a get-a-way like that.
 
Very nice work and craftsmanship. Drying lumber isn't hard. Make sure you "stick" it for air flow between layers. My dad and I built a kiln and the only thing we put in it is a dehumidifier and a fan to move the air around. Run the hose to a bucket outside the enclosure. We can dry pine in about 5-7 days. Poplar takes about 2 1/2 weeks. Oak takes a while, 4 weeks. We built an enclosure in our shop and sandwiched 2 inch styrofoam In between OSB. We place the lumber on a cart on wheels to get it into the enclosure.
