Bought it 6 or 8 months ago. Took it to the range for the first time after work yesterday. Didn't try any serious target work. Rather, just functional testing, break-in and general familiarization. I have a total of 3 25-round mags and one short 10. Fired a few strings from each 25-rounder (5 or 10 loaded only) and the bulk from the 10-rounder. No problems of any kind. Fired up some misc. Win Super-X and CCI Mini-mags (total of about 80 rounds maybe) and other 70 or 80 from a bulk box of CCI Blazers.

Started out hitting about 2 inches low and 1 right at 50 feet offhand. Once I had the sights adjusted (the elevation needed a little fiddling before it actually started moving the sight), it got boring putting a large ragged hole in the paper at the POA.

And I am reminded that I don't like A2 pistol grips. My fingers are a little sore this morning from the bump on the front of the grip. That'll have to go.

And I have the cheap Slidefire kit on the way from Grabagun. Don't think the range would like me to bump fire, though. And I also already have a 50-round drum for it (untested).

Overall I'm very happy with this neat little rifle.

They're even more awesome when you whack the barrel down and screw a can on the end of one:

Sorry, couldn't resist!

Rob, don't worry so much about using the Slide Fire. However do install the CMC trigger as that is one of the best additions you can put on any AR styled rifle.

I received my Slide Fire today, as the price was just too good. Considering the price of a CMC trigger, at that price the stock is basically free. It might be fun to hose off some rounds with that stock but it looks like a cheap piece of plastic... at least compared to the grip & stock I currently use.

Agreed! I did buy it mainly for the trigger.

All of that. I put the CMC trigger in my 15-22, then in my AR lowers. Hard to go back to factory after that.

And...the slidefire thing does look cheap...that's the primary reason why I didn't get one.
