#126791 are marked on the barrel, cyl. and by the lanyard. The crane is marked on the inside #101119 and the same # is marked on the frame next to the crane. What other marks should I look for. It has the eagles head stamped on many parts just like on the M17 rifles I own. Any help and info would be great.

Hi Skywagon, If you can peer through one og the cylinder charge holes you should see the 126xxx number on the crane. Tis number should also be on the back of the extractor star. Often times the inside of the grips will be numbered in pencil. The second number you mention is an assembly number usally found on the crane and on the frame at the crane recess. My 149xxx was shipped in January, 1918, so your pistol's date should be close to that. The ordnance "bomb" on the upper left rear of the frame indicates government acceptance. Hope this helps. Regards, Ray
