We put up our feeders over the weekend, but I think it's still a bit early. Where are you located???

Had a crop of newbies hit the feeders this weekend. Mr Costa's Hummingbird who arrived some weeks ago is not pleased.

We're very lucky here in that we have them visit all winter. Some days we have to change out their feeders 4-5 times a day when it's freezing out. My best photos have come off a previously set tripod and a remote trigger. I believe most of ours are of the Anna's variety.

We've been in the 80s for a couple of weeks now and put the feeders out about a week ago. No action as of this morning... Deer Park Texas. 12 miles SE of Houston.

We seldom get over 4 or 5 birds even though some folks just a few miles away get flocks of them. I've always believed that out house is right on the edge of their migratory path.

Enjoy your new look JR
